Field note 01 · Managed agents

Give the recurring work a real owner.

Deskrun builds the agent, defines the human checkpoint, and stays accountable after launch. Your team gets the result without becoming an automation maintenance crew.

Control boundary

The checkpoint is part of the build.

External and high-risk actions require human approval by default. We decide the boundary with you, put it in the workflow, and make approvals easy to review.

Human-in-the-loop is an operating rule here, not a line added after the automation is built.

What happens in Discovery?

We spend 30 minutes on one recurring job, examine a real input and expected output, identify obvious access or risk constraints, and give you a direct build, refine, or wait recommendation. Discovery is free and there is no obligation to continue.

What does Setup cover?

Setup begins at the published starting price and covers the workflow and agents agreed after Discovery. The final price follows the defined scope so the build is testable and the two-week stabilization period is useful.

Will an agent contact clients on its own?

Not by default. External and high-risk actions stop at a human checkpoint. We can change that boundary only when the risk, evidence, and operating policy support it.

Is Discovery a sales call?

It is a working session, not a generic pitch. Tell us how you use AI today and where it is or is not helping. We review that context, meet for 30 minutes if there is a plausible fit, and tell you directly if Deskrun is not the right answer.

Who takes care of the agent after launch?

Deskrun does through Support. We watch health, handle fixes, and use the included four change hours as your systems or process change.

What kinds of teams are a fit?

Founder-led SMBs, agencies, and service businesses with recurring work and an owner who can define the result. Deskrun is not an enterprise PMO transformation program.
